Nabíječka EV je přesné zařízení. Pokud není správně zvoleno nabíjecí napětí EV DC, bude mnoho vážných problémů. When shopping for an electric car charger, what voltage data do you need to know?
Three of the most critical electrical parameters are line voltage, phase voltage, and maximum voltage. They are both commonly used concepts in power systems. You can talk to your local grid agency to find out. We provide their respective definitions and emphasize their importance below.
Line Voltage
Line Voltage: Line voltage is the voltage between any two phases, which we usually refer to as phase-to-phase voltage.
In a three-phase AC system, there are three phase lines representing three phases. The voltage between them is the line voltage. The voltages between phase A and phase B, between phase B and phase C, and between phase C and phase A are all line voltages. The magnitude of line voltage depends on the level of system voltage. Common voltage levels are 380V, 660PROTI.
Phase Voltage
Phase Voltage: phase voltage is the voltage between the phase line and the neutral point. In layman’s terms, this is the voltage between what we often refer to as the fire wire and the zero wire. It is usually the voltage of household electricity.
What is the relationship between them? The sum of the vectors between the line voltages UAB, UBC, and UCA in the star connection forms a positive triangle. Their angle is 120 stupně. According to trigonometry, the magnitude of the line voltage is three times the root of the phase voltage.
Maximum Voltage
Maximum Voltage: The maximum voltage of an EV DC charging is the maximum voltage value it can output.
This parameter is crucial to ensure the compatibility of the charger with electric vehicles. If you are purchasing a charger, these electrical parameters are the first prerequisite that must be considered. This is because different countries and regions may have different voltage standards and regulations. The electrical parameters of the charger must match the voltage provided by the local grid.
The Practical Significance of EV DC Charging Voltage
In power systems, the selection of line and phase voltages directly affects the operational performance and safety of electrical equipment.
If the rated voltage of the EV DC charger does not match the actual voltage, it may lead to equipment damage or unstable operation. Therefore, when making the selection and configuration of electrical equipment, the appropriate line and phase voltages must be determined according to the voltage rating of the system and the requirements of the equipment.
EV DC Charging Voltage Summary
Local electrical system values are common knowledge to electrical engineers. If you don’t know them, you can just go to your local electrical department and ask. They will all tell you directly. It is not a secret.
I will continue to popularize EV charger frequencies and such in the future. Welcome to stay tuned to our TKT EV charging solution.
