As the sales of new energy vehicles are getting higher and higher, people are slowly starting to pay attention to new energy vehicles, and new energy vehicles are closely related to charging posts. No charging post is like a fuel car without a gas station. To solve the anxiety of electric vehicle owners, a variety of mobile terminal charging post applications have emerged in the market. There are different kinds of charging posts, and the following is an introduction to the types and characteristics of TKT EV charging posts.
(1) AC charging post
AC charging posts, commonly known as “slow charging”, are power supply devices that are fixedly installed outside the EV and connected to the AC power grid to provide AC power for the EV on-board charger. AC charging post only provides power output, no charging function, need to be connected to the on-board charger for electric vehicle charging. It is equivalent to just playing the role of a control power supply.
(2) DC charging post
DC charging post is commonly known as “fast charging”, it is fixed installed outside the electric vehicle, connected to the AC power grid, can provide DC power supply for non-vehicle-mounted electric vehicle power battery power supply device. It can directly output DC power to charge the batteries of electric vehicles, and the output voltage and current can be adjusted in a wide range, which can provide enough power to realize the rapid charging of electric vehicles. DC charging post charging speed is faster, so it is generally installed in the charging station next to the highway.
(3) AC/DC integrated charging post
Rapid charging post equipment adopts the structure of AC and DC integration. Both DC charging and AC charging can be realized. During the daytime when there are many charging operations, DC charging is used for fast charging, and AC charging can be used for slow charging when there are few users at the charging station at night. Adopting touch and keyboard as backup control, the touch screen and keyboard are designed to be rainproof and dustproof. Emergency stop switch for emergency stop. The charging connector can be placed in the waterproof slot.
(1) Public charging station. Constructed in the public parking lot combined with parking spaces, providing charging services for social vehicles charging posts.
(2) Specialized charging post. Construction of unit-owned parking lot, and charging post for internal use of the unit.
(3) Self-use charging station. Constructed in the individual’s own garage, for private users to provide charging charging station. The above is to introduce different kinds of charging stations according to different ways, the following we mainly introduce the characteristics of charging stations according to the charging method.
(1) AC charging station is simple in structure, and small in size, the input side only needs to be connected from the power grid, the output is also AC, the cost is lower, and the installation is more convenient. Suitable for installation in the community and unit parking lot for their own use.
(2) The power of AC charging stake is generally smaller, the charging speed is slower, after an electric car is fully discharged, it usually takes about 8 hours to be fully charged by AC charging stake.
(3) Protection function. AC charging stake should comply with IP54 (outdoor), and be configured with rain and sun protection device to protect the charging stake from rain. The charging post electric post shell door is equipped with an anti-theft lock, and the bolts for fixing the AC charging post must be installed or removed only after opening the shell door. The iron shell of the charging post and the exposed iron bracket and parts take double-layer anti-rust measures, and the non-ferrous metal shell has an anti-oxidation protective film or anti-oxidation treatment.
(1) Compared with AC charging station, DC charging station is bigger, because the DC charging post has a certain number of power modules inside, the higher the power, the more modules, the bigger the post body. It is suitable for installation in public areas.
(2) DC charging post can monitor the status of the battery and automatically adjust the charging curve, charging current and charging voltage according to the temperature and voltage of the battery.
(3) Each DC charging post has its own operator for users to choose charging mode and operation guidance, and display the battery status of electric vehicles and user IC card fee information, realizing unmanaged.
(4) The DC charging post can judge whether the charging connector and charging cable are correctly connected, and the charger is allowed to start charging only after correct connection, and when the connection is not normal, it can stop charging immediately and send out an alarm message.
(5) DC charging post is suitable for public transportation special charging post, because of the nature of the work of the bus, generally use 200-350kw high power DC charging post, the bus runs a trip back, the driver uses the rest time of 10-15 minutes to charge the vehicle to replenish electricity.
3. AC/DC integrated charging station
(1) Provide man-machine interaction operation. Provide DC and AC charging interface.
(2) Communicate with the BMS in real time to obtain information such as power battery type, unit voltage, remaining capacity, temperature, and alarm.
(3) With charging interface connection status judgment, interlock, control guidance and other perfect safety protection control logic.
(4) With CAN2.0B and RS485 communication interface, it can communicate with centralized monitoring and send charging status information.
(5) With leakage, short circuit, over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current and other protection functions, to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the charging station (bolt). Protection grade IP54.
