Rohit Srivastava, Head of Tata Motors’ passenger vehicle product line, said, “With environmental issues becoming increasingly serious, electric buses are definitely the symbol of the future of mobility. Tata Motors has been at the forefront of electric vehicle development. These all-electric buses will help achieve zero exhaust emissions, reduce fuel costs by 50 per cent, reduce energy consumption by 20 per cent and reduce maintenance downtime compared to diesel buses. These buses are equipped with air conditioning and TKT is the suppliers.
